About Ralisa Pop
Ralisa Pop is a Clinical Research Nurse in the Department of Neurology that contributes to nursing protocols in clinical research trials. She earned her Bachelor degrees with Honors in Nursing (2019) and Health Science (2012) from the University of Florida and is CCRC certified.
Ralisa’s clinical experience is in critical care. Prior to her current role, she worked as a bedside nurse in the Burn, ENT, and Plastics ICU at UF Health Shands Hospital for over 2 years.
Ralisa’s research experience has focused on investigating the influences of biopsychosocial factors associated with chronic pain conditions with an emphasis on aging and health disparities. She has coordinated numerous observational research studies within the Pain Research and Intervention Center of Excellence (PRICE Lab). Her current research interests aim to explore neurocritical, neurovascular, and stroke care within the Department of Neurology.
