One of the four major goals of the Institute on Aging and the Department of Aging and Geriatric Research is to provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care for older adults, and, to this end, we are committed to helping our patients live long, productive, independent lives with a minimum of chronic pain and illness. We offer geriatric primary care in the Shands hospital, at the Oak Hammock outpatient clinic and skilled nursing facility, and at the UF Health Senior Care, which is staffed by board certified geriatricians, specialty trained in either internal medicine or family medicine.
