Welcome Dr. Kaufmann

Dr. Kaufmann graduated from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 2015 and received additional training in geriatric mental health at the University of California San Diego.  He is a public health researcher with interests at the intersection of aging, sleep, and health services research. His research focuses on using epidemiologic data to identify patterns in use of health services for sleep disorders among older adults and examining how such patterns affect trajectories of aging (e.g., cognitive decline and neurodegeneration) across the life course.
